Here are the questions we are most frequently being asked:
BEFORE THE DELIVERY CHECKLIST:
1. Have a space available to set the Island down. Most people place their BBQ Island somewhere in their yard or their patio. The space needs to be as long as the Island and as wide as the island.
2. Be sure that the island fits through your side gate.
3. Remove any furniture, pots, or other personal items from the island area.
4. Keep Pets indoors for the duration of the delivery.
5. Unlock side gate to give the crews access to your backyard.
6. If you are in a gated community, please let the gate guard know of the delivery.
AFTER THE DELIVERY CHECKLIST:
1. Remove any tape or packaging from the island and grill before grilling.
2. Shut off grill and propane tank if you smell gas. Check for leaks with soap and water if you suspect a leak. Be sure propane tank is secure and hose is attached tightly before grilling.
HOW TO CONNECT WATER TO THE ISLAND.
Question: How can I make all water connections to the sink or water filter?
Answer: The best solution for proper installation is to call a licensed plumber to make all necessary connections.
Question: Can I make plumbing connections myself?
Answer: BBQSUSA does not recommend any Do-It-Yourself installations.
LONG TERM CARE
Question: What do I need to do so that my grill, island, and tech hub look good and operate properly for many years to come?
Answer: A Grill and Island's worst enemies are water, and sun. To protect it from water damage, avoid any washing with a hose. Instead wash your grill with a wet rag or a wet sponge. To protect your grill from the sun and rain be sure to cover it when not in use with a grill cover. The weathered wood siding can be treated periodically with a wood stain to avoid any premature aging and deterioration.from rain and UV rays.
